Since the release of World Of Warcraft: Chronicles Volume 1, we are dealing with the Cosmic Chart of Warcraft. The fundamental part of our universe, and as said by Blizzard, we will delve to explore it, giving the start with Shadowlands.

Recently I was thinking about the cosmological force Order and how it is so chaotic in truth. The power it yields, Arcane is one of the (if not the most) most unstabilized power in the universe. It is also consuming, Arcane’s raw power can destroy its wielder if he can’t control it, or cause utter destruction around it. When Dimensius the All-Devouring found its way into a physical plane, K’aresh, it needed to consume the arcane energy around itself. To stay as a whole in our plane of existence, thanks to the raw and chaotic power Arcane yields. So, I asked myself:

While Order is supposed to be “ordered”, it contains one of the extreme powers of our cosmos. So, what if Disorder came to be not by itself, but from the Order itself? Order, gave birth to its natural counterpart, Disorder.

I know this is a big, daring theory. But in this sense, we may confirm this by how Void came to being in the first place;

Originally, only the Light existed as an unfettered, shifting ocean of living energy. However, as some of its energies faded and dimmed, pockets of cold nothingness were created. From the absence of Light in these spaces, a new power coalesced and came to be. This was the Void, a dark and vampiric force driven to devour all energy, to twist creation inward to feed upon itself.

After the Light and Void clashed, our Physical Universe was born and their chaotic clashing gave birth to another realm: Twisting Nether. This post is just for speculation, so I will keep daring.

While we can take the Warcraft movie non-canon easily, there were some little hints in it worth to talk about. One of the hints was about the existence of the two ” main” cosmic forces, The Light and The Void and how they are bound to each other to exist. What if, when The Light first came to exist, it gave birth to the two other cosmological forces: Life and Order. After it, when Light got depleted and got clashed with its natural counterpart Void, the other two cosmological forces came to existence: from Life comes Death, and from Order comes Disorder.

But what could that mean? It means the two sides of the cosmological forces are bound by creation. While all of them are aiming to consume and dominate each other, they would not succeed because they are flowing into each other. Where The Light ” dies” Void appears, where Order falls apart gives Disorder and destruction and when Life ends, Death claims.

So, the moral of the topic is; each Cosmological forces have a duality. Just like the two sides of The Moon, one bright and one dark. One side is Life, one side is Death and vice versa. And the only one thing matters; Balance. But as N’zoth warned us before, each of them willing to extend their reach upon all creation, which is troublesome foreshadowing:

Six seats at the high table. Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others.
